So what do I need for a digital signage project?

The three essential requirements for any digital signage project are the hardware, software, and content. The equipment required are the displays, mounts, players, and additional hardware needed for deployment. Then the software, allows us to create your presentation and broadcast your most important element — content. What are the most common types of content you see in digital sign?

Can digital signage be used outdoors?

How often should content on digital signage be updated?

As often as you would like! Digital signage is great for quickly updating pricing and adding new products as frequently as you want. Content should be kept fresh and updated so that it is always relevant and exciting to your customers. Updates can be scheduled ahead of time and content can be played at your specified times.  You can always use live data feeds to keep your content updated regularly.

Can digital signage play live TV?

Yes, digital signs can broadcast local and national television channels on either a portion of a screen or the entire screen.

Can screens be split into sections to display different content?

Yes, screens can display content full screen or be split into multiple zones and play a different piece of content in each.

Why can’t I use USB Media Sticks?

When you hear someone say “We have android media players”,  you’re really usually getting outdated hardware that can’t handle anything besides a static picture. Yes they may be a cheaper option but they also can only run one screen at a time, can’t handle any complex images or animation, and are not as reliable. Do you want a menu that stays the same forever or you have no control of?

Can I use screens I already have?

Yes, but this depends on the quality of the monitor you currently have. We thrive off of providing a quality service to our customers so if your screen is not appropriate for digital signage we will provide you with a cost effective alternative.

Who should update and maintain the content on digital signage?

This depends on the purpose of your digital signage project. Usually a manager or marketing director  are most equipped to handle updating your sign. If you will be using your sign to broadcast information to employees, Human Resources should help with maintenance. Digital signage usually calls for various people and departments to coordinate the content in your digital sign.
